Sydney Evans is co-owner and lead cake designer for Sealed with Love Pastries. Her sweet success started when she discovered she had a craving for a cupcake. Never being a “dessert” person, Sydney decided to bake her own cupcake —a cupcake that changed her life. Her undeniable craving led her to baking for co-workers and family as a hobby. Sydney became intrigued with the art of caking and realized her talents focused on the meticulous detail surrounding cake decorating. Since that season in 2012, she quickly realized her God-given artistic gift to produce a cake from a photo without any art or designing experience and is 100% self-taught.  Her cake decorations have been inspired by a variety of customer’s favorite things and have quickly made her appreciated and demanded. 


She pays great attention to detail when crafting cakes and pastries, and uses the finest ingredients.  Since 2012, joined with her aunt, a gifted baker, Sydney has been bringing sweet pleasure to customers through her handcrafted custom cakes and sweet treats.  Whatever the occasion and vision, Sydney will make an elegant designed cake or treat to make your occasion and special celebration unforgettable, a memorable cake for a memorable occasion.


Jamie Johnson was going on seven years old when she first started to help her mother in the kitchen.  Her mother handed her a wooden spoon and a chair, and Jamie began her first lesson in cooking. Shortly thereafter, she began to watch culinary greats such as Julia Child, Jeff Smith, and Justin Wilson. It was then that her creations in the kitchen started to come together. In 2010, Jamie purchased dinner rolls from a store but was so dissatisfied by the stale taste that she decided to bake her own rolls from scratch. With cooking experiences behind her, master’s degree received, promotion working with the federal government, and a growing family, Jamie realized something was missing from her life. She approached her niece Sydney about going into business together who was already making sweet treats for her co-workers, they joined their talents and the rest is history. 


Jamie recognizes that God blessed her with culinary talent; she gives the entire honor to Him and enjoys making every one of her baked goods. Specializing in signature cakes, Jamie is inspired by putting together new flavors and unconventional choices to make delicious cake combinations. Her cakes and pastries have texture, bold tastes, and tempting aromas – her most favorite being the strawberry cake with lemon icing.  Jamie loves sharing the family pastry business because it’s two gifted designers with different talents, making one beautiful and delightful creation.  Jamie humbly asserts, “we take God’s love and seal it into our creations.”
